check me out... 2 days in a row !

Well today me, the little one and nanna went to Lowther gardens in Lytham today.. its basically a fancy park!

it was a really nice day and not just weather wise, we have a lot of stuff going on at the minute family wise and we just managed to get away and relax for a few hours! But here I'll let you see some of the pictures.. 

They aren't particularly artsy or anything, they are just 3 generations having a nice relaxing time in amongst all the stress of life !!

 and then she even got treated to a new dress... such a lucky little girl!...

Well that was just a really happy day for me and I just wanted to share it with you all.. no matter how bad life can get, you should always take a minute to breath!

rather busy...

WELL... I realize I haven't exactly written on my blog for maybe over a year.. 

well a lot has happened..

First me and Matt.. got a puppy..

This is polo, yes he is a Dalmatian and no we do not have another 100 of them..

although now he has grown quite a lot and is 15 months old

so our little puppy isn't quite so little anymore..

weve moved house a couple of times and now he have our own little bungalow..

we got engaged on the 15th December 2012, which was one of the best days of my life so far, apart from having our daughter Lily Rose :)....

now i may be biased but she is the most gorgeous girl in the entire world... 

This is me pregnant and I was only 38 weeks at this point!

yes I got bigger...

then on the 20th February 2013 at 7:45pm our little princess was born

and this was Lilys first morning in the big wide world!..

we found out she wasn't a big fan of photo-shoots at the young age of just 4 weeks, we managed to get 1 good picture out of about 30, so this is me and lily.

So recently now were all settled into our family i'm going to try and get back into my photography.. I took a couple of shots today but they are nothing compared to what i used to be like! (in my opinion anyway)

but I'll let you judge...

Right before nandos!...

Today I went round to my friend Vickis with the full intention to practice some portrait shots, but ended up getting distracted by the vase of flowers in her living room!..

This is Vicki !

I tried all sorts of shots, different angles, different focus' trying to focus on one flower then another, I even tried removing pettles because they bent the wrong way and I didn't like them sticking up like that!

We then decided to go to Nandos but had to wait for our other friend to get dressed so I decided to then take some pictures of a set of ducks.. which did NOT go so great haha anyway here are the results!

This was my first attempt and wasn't to happy and the bottom left corner but was still rather pleased with how it came out

I then tried again zoomed in slightly closer, which I was rather happy with... 

Then this was supposed to be just a general picture of them all with them getting blurred further to the back.. I really liked the way this one turned out!

On this picture it took me a while to get as this is the one I wasn't happy with the pettle because it was bent upwards, so Vicki suggested take them out so I did and then put one back but upside down so it looked normal because it had left a gap.

I like this one but it's probably not many peoples cup of tea.. I just like the crispness of the yellow against the white with the blurred living room behind.

And this is my favourite flower picture from today.

I just love everything about it... but please comments!! 

After all of these flower pictures I decided to take some pictures of model ducks.. which did not go so succesfully! 

 
 Some were over exposed some were under and some I just didn't like.. 

 Basically it was a pointless venture for me... please do give feedback though!
