oooooo lovely evening!

Well I was sat at home I looked out my window and the rubbish day had turned into a lovely evening (lovely but cold I was soon to find out!)
So I grabbed the camera and went to the local seaside as it's only down the road, unfortunately the sunset was a bit of a let down but it was still some good practice!
not much writing tonight, more pictures though! so here you go.....

About now.. is when I could no longer feel my fingers :D

I hope I've not bored you to much with these photos in fact I hope you've enjoyed them...
Please leave me any feedback!!!

:D

it's official, i'm still a novice !

I say I'm still a novice... I actually know ALOT more than when I first started which for self teaching has got to be a good thing :)
Starting to learn a bit more about f-stops and shutter speeds... white balances and other stuff like that still not 100% on how to do it with my camera, yet!

But moving on to todays pictures I had 9 days off and pretty much every single day it was bucketing it down with rain, so as soon as I got an all right day I was out and here are some of the results....

First off my favourite image of the day
I have this one and one slightly darker and one slightly brighter... and I change my mind on which I prefer constantly!

This next one is my mums favourite! for this picture I was just trying out having the focus in the foreground with something big behind..

Then I tried it a little closer and tbh I prefer this next picture

I then just went round the church taking random pictures seeing what I could find, there were a few things but I don't rate any of the pictures fantasticly but here are a few..

none of these pictures have been edited at all... and I do have a few more but these are just a sample :)
Hope you enjoy and please leave any feedback and comments you have!

Right before nandos!...

Today I went round to my friend Vickis with the full intention to practice some portrait shots, but ended up getting distracted by the vase of flowers in her living room!..

This is Vicki !

I tried all sorts of shots, different angles, different focus' trying to focus on one flower then another, I even tried removing pettles because they bent the wrong way and I didn't like them sticking up like that!

We then decided to go to Nandos but had to wait for our other friend to get dressed so I decided to then take some pictures of a set of ducks.. which did NOT go so great haha anyway here are the results!

This was my first attempt and wasn't to happy and the bottom left corner but was still rather pleased with how it came out

I then tried again zoomed in slightly closer, which I was rather happy with...

Then this was supposed to be just a general picture of them all with them getting blurred further to the back.. I really liked the way this one turned out!

On this picture it took me a while to get as this is the one I wasn't happy with the pettle because it was bent upwards, so Vicki suggested take them out so I did and then put one back but upside down so it looked normal because it had left a gap.

I like this one but it's probably not many peoples cup of tea.. I just like the crispness of the yellow against the white with the blurred living room behind.

And this is my favourite flower picture from today.
I just love everything about it... but please comments!!

After all of these flower pictures I decided to take some pictures of model ducks.. which did not go so succesfully!

Some were over exposed some were under and some I just didn't like..
Basically it was a pointless venture for me... please do give feedback though!

Hope you enjoyed todays!!

as always feedback very welcome :)

2 in USA & 1 in Germany !

Yeah I'm not so good with these titles but from yesterday I had a few views which I'm happy about, some I was confused as to how they found my blog but hey ho!

This morning while my boyfriend has been sleeping away until the mid afternoon I was playing with my camera and TRYING some macro shots with it, I assume it was in macro mode anyway! all I could find to work with though was my Pandora bracelet so the pictures get very repetitive! BUT I tried!

They probably could do with editing and what not, because in some you can see my kitchen!
then when I realised this I moved over to the windowsill but alas that has a faint few scratches on the top soo needless to say these are not perfect but! I'm hoping the actual focus of the pictures are the beads and my attempt at trying to focus on certain things whilst others are blurry has not failed!!

as usual... all comments welcome!

feedback welcome!!!
